Prince Shady's Story

Prince Shady was part of a group of 14 outdoor cats in Burlington that came into rescue in September. They have spent their time learning how to be indoor cats and having the benefit of a warm shelter to be fostered in instead of living through the brutality of winter. Shady's favorite toys are wands and their circle scratcher with the ball on the outside to chase. He is a very sweet boy that loves to play, gets zoomies, enjoys a brushing, and looooves his canned food! He has gotten along well with his siblings but has not been introduced to any cats outside of his family unit. He is timid of dogs but we believe that with proper introductions and patience that Prince Shady could successfully live in a home with dogs. Our adoption process is simple, relationship-centered, and provides supportive education. You can expect your adoption interest to go like this:
1. Submit your electronic form
2. An AEL representative will contact you to schedule a phone call or adoption counsel session.
3. Come to your adoption counsel session to meet the pet you're interested in and ready to take them home with you (dependent on the pet, some need more than one meet)
4. If the pet is determined to be a good fit with your family by both you and the AEL representative, you will sign your contract, submit your adoption payment, and take your new friend home!

Let us know you're interested here: http://tinyurl.com/AELadoptionsquad
