Prince's Story
Prince would like to clear up a common misconception.

Just because he's an orange cat does not mean he's going to spend his days draped dramatically across your lap while you pet him.

He has standards.

At just over a year old, Prince is far more interested in playing, exploring, zooming through the house, and investigating important matters than he is in being carried around like a baby. He's an active, curious young cat who approaches life with enthusiasm and a healthy sense of independence.

That doesn't mean he doesn't like people.

Quite the opposite.

Prince enjoys being part of the action and wants to know what's going on at all times. He simply prefers affection on his own terms and appreciates people who respect his boundaries.

Honestly, it's a little refreshing.

Prince came to us after being found outside and briefly cared for by someone who couldn't keep him. They described him as playful and energetic, and we'd have to agree. This is a cat who believes life is meant to be experienced, not slept through.

He's done well with other cats and may enjoy having a feline companion. His compatibility with dogs is still being evaluated.
