Meet Pretty Boy: A Quiet Gentleman Looking for a Peaceful Place to Land. Pretty Boy is an 8.5-year-old snow-white beauty who is looking for a very specific kind of hero--one who understands that the best friendships often start with a little bit of space and a lot of patience. Since arriving at the shelter, Pretty Boy has been a quiet, observant soul who finds his greatest sense of security in his favorite hidey-hole bed. He isn't the type to demand center stage right away; instead, he's a gentle observer looking for a calm home where he can feel safe enough to finally decompress. While he is shy, he has a truly sweet heart and absolutely loves being petted once he knows he's in safe hands. Pretty Boy recently had a little "tune-up" to get him ready for his forever home. He had three masses removed--two from his left shoulder and one from his right neck region and they were completely benign! Additionally, he had a dental procedure with several extractions. He is feeling much more comfortable now, but his new family should commit to annual vet check-ups to monitor his skin and his remaining pearly whites as he cruises through his senior years. We have all of his medical records and biopsy results ready to share with your vet so his future care is easy and seamless. When it comes to roommates, Pretty Boy is a bit of a homebody. While he may be able to reside with another very low-key resident cat who is happy with a "roommate" rather than a playmate, he would truly love to be your one and only. Being the sole king of the castle would allow him to soak up every ounce of love and all the belly rubs he can handle! Because Pretty Boy is a sensitive guy who treasures his peace, he is looking for a dog-free home. He would be a lovely match for a patient adopter or a family with gentle, kind children ages 8 and up who can respect his boundaries and let him come out of his shell at his own pace. If you have a quiet corner for his bed and a heart for the shy ones who just need a chance to feel safe, Pretty Boy is waiting to show you his sweet side.
