Our Mission

Animal Control operates the Animal Shelter and enforces Lauderdale County’s Animal Welfare Laws. The Shelter will house approximately 4000 animals annually. We are an animal adoption facility and adopt on average 30% of all animals taken in. Animal Control hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for animal drop-offs. You can adopt a p...
