Rescued at Christmas, she was a heartwarming reminder of the love pets bring. Despite serious injuries from a dog attack, she settled in effortlessly, greeting everyone with warmth and affection. Her gentle nature remained unwavering as she bravely underwent multiple surgeries.<br/><br/>More like a dog than a cat, Piper thrives on human connection. She follows her favorite people from room to room, eager to be part of every moment. She greets everyone with enthusiasm, making her presence known with affectionate purrs and warm cuddles. Belly rubs? She adores them. Car rides? She’s always ready. Social gatherings? She wouldn’t miss them for the world. She will quickly win over all your family and friends!<br/><br/>Piper’s gentle, loving nature makes her the perfect companion for all ages. If you work from home, she’ll be your dedicated office assistant, keeping you company throughout the day. If you have kids, she’ll be their playful best friend. If you’re retired, she’ll be your loyal shadow, always ready for a cuddle. She’s the queen of head-butting as she seeks to strengthen your bond and will enthusiastically flop over for belly rubs. It’s clear that Piper adores people, however she doesn’t share the same sentiments for other cats, so it’s best she stays the only feline in the home. <br/><br/>Loyal, affectionate, and always eager to be by your side, Piper isn’t just a pet—she’s family. She’s proof that love and resilience can create the most incredible companions, and she melts the hearts of everyone who meets her.<br/><br/>Accommodations:<br/>Piper lost her back leg due to a serious dog attack, so it’s unknown how she will respond to dogs. We have seen that she does not thrive with other cats. Despite this, she moves well on three legs—racing up stairs, chasing after toys, and jumping onto the couch for snuggles with ease. However, since this surgery is still recent, she sometimes loses her balance. A joint supplement is recommended to best support her as a tripod. She’s also a good eater but can be a bit picky about which brand of wet food she prefers—because, of course, a queen has her tastes!<br/><br/><br/>We are looking for a home with the following::<br/>- a home where she is not left for long hours or a home where her person is not away frequently ie travelling for work<br/>- must be 25 years of age and live in the Province of Ontario.
