Meet Powder!<br/>Powder escaped from a hoarding situation and was then rescued from the streets when she was just a baby. Powder is a lovely cat who would benefit from a home with a great deal of patience and affection. She LOVES to be pet - we mean LOVES it. She will often stand near her human and give them a gentle paw or nudge that says, "pet me please!" when she wants attention. She likes toys on strings and rods that she can chase around. Powder gets along with other cats, and indeed, made some best friends during her stay with the foster - she loves to chase them and be chased! <br/><br/>Though she's very sweet and not aggressive, Powder can be a bit shy and skittish. She will very often sit NEAR her human but won't usually lay directly on them (though there HAVE been rare occurrences!). She might also "nope" out at loud noises or unpredictable movements but "scaredy-cat" is just part of her charm.<br/><br/>Powder should be adopted by an experienced cat parent who will give her plenty of time and grace to warm up to her surroundings. It would be great if there were other cats in the home, but she would also benefit from a home where she is the only cat (at least for a while) so she can have one-on-one time to bond with her human. She would be great for a person living alone seeking a quiet companion, though this is not the only home environment she could thrive in.<br/><br/>Will you be the one to give Powder the life she has always deserved?
