Potter's Story

Meet Potter!
(Yes, like Harry—his orange brother is Weasley, after all.)

Potter is one of a kind, and not just because of his name. He has a very unique trait: he snorts! It’s a loud, funny little sound—almost like a snore, but it only happens in short bursts when he’s awake. (We like to call it “awake apnea.”) He doesn’t snort in his sleep, which makes the whole thing even sillier and more endearing. His snorts can be surprising to new friends, but once you get to know him, it just becomes part of his charm.

Quirks aside, Potter is pure sweetness. He adores being with people, loves pets and snuggles, and will happily curl up next to you at night. Because of his snorts, light sleepers may prefer to give him his own cozy room at bedtime—but he’d be an ideal companion for someone who doesn’t mind (or even better, someone who’s hard of hearing and wouldn’t notice a thing).

Potter is also a big fan of porch life. A screened-in porch is his absolute paradise, and he’ll happily spend hours watching the world go by. He’s very tidy with his litter box and has great house manners.

In short: Potter is a sweet, loving, funny, and truly special cat who deserves a forever home with someone who will embrace him exactly as he is. Whoever adopts him is going to gain a wonderful companion with a whole lot of love (and a few snorts) to give.

Meet the available cats and kittens at the Petco in California MD on Saturdays and Sundays 11-3 or at the Meow Dyer Cat Cafe in Leonardtown MD.
Apply online at www.feralcatrescuemd.org.
