Possum is spirited, boisterous and wild romping! After all that tomboyish behavior, she sleeps like a glamourous kitty girl and dreams like a goddess! Possum can be insistent, persistent and determined. She climbs a cat tree and will nap on the highest platform. Possum relishes being curled up next to her human companion, but she favors sleeping on your head!! Possum's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. She plays with and chases after other cats or kittens. Possum is accustomed to being around a cat-friendly dog. Possum has a soft short coat with a torbie (tortoiseshell tabby) pattern. She has a face with two looks in one, two distinct features on each side of her face, known as chimera. The result is a kitty with two unique sets of DNA. Not only does Possum have a mosaic of colors in her coat, but she is also two-faced in a very positive and beautiful way! As of December 2025, Possum is 3 months old. Her adoption fee is $80. Feral Feline Coalition's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are conducted by the foster following an in-person interview with the potential adopter. We have a booth most Saturdays at the Fresh Market in Ocean Springs and sometimes bring our adoptable cats there for everyone to meet! You can contact us at feralfelinecoalition@gmail.com. We interview people, determine if they are a good match for the cat and can be responsible pet parents. They must have a carrier to take home a cat, complete the adoption agreement and pay a minimum donation of $70.00.
