Possum

Possum is a sweet, beautiful cat that needs an owner who understands her personality and who will be patient with her while letting a bond and trust develop. She is a very cautious girl with humans and generally won’t let you get too close or pet her. That being said, she enjoys being in the same room as you (especially if you’re cooking), will let you pet her when she is eating or when treats are involved, and has let me hold her like a baby at times. She will be a wonderful cat for the right person.<br/>She does very well with the litter box and using the scratching posts. She loves to nap up high or curled up in a fluffy bed. She gets along with other cats, but just takes a bit to warm up to them - she will keep her distance and be a bit hissy if they come nearby, but she’s all talk and a true scaredy cat. We have two medium-large dogs and one small dog that she is used to being around. She doesn’t love them and generally gives them their space, but she isn’t afraid of them.
