Hi… my name is Portia! <br/>I was once known as “Porch Kitty,” because before my glow-up at Furball, I lived outside on a porch. Life out there was lonely, and what I needed most was love. Furball stepped in and gave me safety, warmth, and kindness and now I’m ready to find a forever home of my very own.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy at first, especially in new places. I will hide while I figure things out, so my new family will need to be patient and understanding. New homes can be scary, but trust me, food will be key. With time, love, and plenty of snacks, I’ll slowly come out of my shell.<br/><br/>Once you get me going, I am a complete lover. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite… they make me feel extra special. I’m also a licker, and that’s my way of telling you “I love you.” I enjoy sitting up high, gazing out the window, watching the world go by like the classy lady I am.<br/><br/>I love other cats and truly need a feline companion in my new home. Having another kitty friend helps me feel safe and confident.<br/>If you’re willing to offer me patience, gentle love, and a full food bowl, I promise I’ll reward you with affection, belly rub invitations, and lots of kisses.<br/><br/>You can come visit me any day between 1–5pm. I’ll be waiting up high, dreaming of my forever home.<br/><br/>I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.<br/><br/>I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV&FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations.
