Porkchop is an 8 year old black medium haired boy. He is a big boy, weighing almost 19 pounds. He is a lovable cat who enjoys being petted, brushed, following you around, and using his scratching post. Porkchop would be happiest in a cat experienced home. Older/quiet kids would be rewarded with bedtime company. He would do best as the only pet, but can live with other cats given a slow introduction. He has no history with dogs, but perhaps a cat tolerant dog might be ok. His new family should be prepared to help him lose a little weight with a regular feeding schedule and play time with feathery wands, laser pointers or anything that will help him run around a bit.
