Pork's Story

Hi my name's Pork!

I am very soft and very sweet 6 month old kitten (as of 11/2025). My foster mom says I'm very motherly because I like to groom her and my foster cat-brother, who she claims could be my dad. But I take care of him more than he takes care of me.

I didn't know any humans for the first few months of my life, so I still am shy of new people. I've never met any children, but I do know a dog that’s in my foster home. He’s fine, but I REALLY like other cats! I definitely need a playful and brave cat to live with. I kinda follow them around and follow their lead and it has allowed me to become more entrusting with this whole indoor cat life!

I am really smart and really kind. I love to play once I’m comfortable in my environment, and then when I’m done playing I’m up for cuddling with either my cat or human friends and my purr motor goes full steam ahead!

Because I’m still getting used to different humans and I startle easily, I would do best in a home with older, cat savvy and respectful kiddos. Small, less energetic dogs are more my speed as well. But as long as I have a kitty in my new home, I’ll thrive!

I really am a very sweet boy, as long as I have patient parents who give me the time to come around!

Pork is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative.

*To apply for Pork (as long as you have a cat at home!), please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt *

Catcalls Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please thoroughly read the following information about adopting a Catcalls Rescue cat/kitten before applying. Must be 21+ to apply. Fill out the form thoroughly. The more information you provide, the better! Incomplete forms will not be considered. Please do not apply on a whim! Out of consideration for the time and energy of our volunteers, we ask that you apply only when certain that you are ready and able to adopt. We cannot hold cats/kittens for adoption. Kittens do best when they have a friend! Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with existing pets. All current pets in applicants’ homes must be spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cats in the home must be FIV/FeLV tested. Safety is a priority at Catcalls Rescue, so a virtual or in-person home check will be completed prior to adoption to make sure your furry friend will be safe and comfortable in their new environment! All Catcalls Rescue cats and kittens come with health records and are dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped. Please note that due to a high volume of applications, you may not receive a response. We will reach out to applicants that are best suited for each feline within one week of receiving their application. **Emails asking us if we have received apps only slows up the process for everyone. We can't respond to those any faster than we can respond to a good application! Please keep that in mind! If you are the best fit for our kitties, you will absolutely hear from us! Thank you!**
