Thankfully, a kind neighbor had her scanned for a microchip and discovered she was a Rescue Kitty girl. Now, Poppy is safe in foster care and finally getting the regular meals, comfort, and love she deserves.<br/><br/>Poppy is still learning to trust and feel secure after everything she’s been through. She can be a little shy, especially around other cats when food is involved, but who can blame her? She’s learning that she no longer has to worry about where her next meal is coming from. With patience and understanding, Poppy is beginning to come out of her shell and discover that people can be kind.<br/><br/>Despite her rough start, Poppy enjoys being petted and can be held.
