Poppy's Story

Meet Poppy — the fearless little firecracker who steals hearts everywhere she goes!
Smart, playful, and always ready for an adventure, Poppy loves treat puzzles, exploring, and bonding closely with her people. She’s incredibly engaging and would thrive with someone who enjoys interacting, playing, and giving her the attention she deserves. She could be an only cat, especially in a home where someone works from home or isn’t gone long hours, or she’d do well with a gentle companion.

Poppy was born with a rare sternal cleft, which means her heart isn’t fully covered by her sternum. Despite this unique condition, she has grown into a strong, happy, energetic girl who gets around beautifully. She’s fully vetted, monitored as needed, and specialists agree she doesn’t require surgery at this time. She just needs a home that understands her special little body and can keep her safe from rough play.

If you’re looking for a bright, joyful, one-of-a-kind kitty who will bring endless energy and personality into your home, Poppy may be your girl! Click “More About Us” to find our adoption application. Fill it out and email it to houseofbrokencookies@gmail.com so we can start the process.

All HOBC cats come spayed/neutered, vaccinated (3-in-1), dewormed, flea-treated, FIV/FELV tested, and microchipped.
