Poppy's Story

Poppy is absolutely hilarious in that she sucks her "thumb" (the fur) while sitting with you. She will also nurse on fleece blankets when not on you. As a baby she had health issues, so was never able to nurse, so this is in response to that. Neither poses any issues as long as the blanket isn't shredded.

While Poppy and Marigold aren't biological sisters, they would be thrilled to go home together. They are both amazing cats and if you adopt both, you'll be so happy because not only will you have two cats who love you, but you'll also have fantastic entertainment and so many cute moments to enjoy. They love to wrestle and play together and will also cuddle. You also won't have to feel bad if your schedule changes because they'll have each other and will just be happy when you get home.

As for Poppy's personality, she loves pets and will jump her hind end up hard enough when you pet her that she can lose her balance if your hand isn't there to stop her momentum. She loves hanging out with you and will sit halfway on your or right next to you on the couch, though when she is sucking her thumb she prefers you not disrupt her with pets. (But also she would like you to sit there with her.)

She is perfectly litter trained (I think she used an empty box once before I was able to refill it) and is able to free feed without an issue, so full bowls of food and water can be left out to avoid needing strict schedules.

She is fixed, FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped with registration included, and comes with a complimentary exam with our veterinarians at Chewy Vet Care and a $50 gift certificate at Chewy to buy her all her favorite toys.

She is located in NW Gilbert, Az. If you're interested in her you can fill out the adoption application at linktr.ee/bottlebabykittens and feel free to email us with any questions!
