Ponyo's Story
Ponyo <3

Gender: Female, spayed
Age: 1-2 years old
Vetting: complete

Likes: being held and playing with toys. Wants to be around people.

Dislikes: having pictures taken of her haha. Not being able to see out the window (rip blinds).

Personality: Ponyo is a very chill kitty who enjoys being held, playing with her foster family and she is a talker! She can be shy, too so we expect her to need a few weeks to decompress in a new home. She's really good, too. She doesn't get on surfaces she's not allowed to be on: tables, counters, etc.

Background: She showed up at a feral colony and we discovered she was pregnant. She was friendly and no owner came forward. Gave birth to three babies on 3/30/25. The kittens have been all been adopted and now it's Ponyo's turn!

Vetting done: Spayed, Rabies, FVRCP (both rounds), combo test (negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV), microchipped and dewormed. Everything done by Caring for Cats.

Concerns:
Medical: Maybe? Doesn't jump much, stays on the ground. Dr. Arnold at Caring for Cats made no notes about any issues with her hips but she may need xrays at some point. No serious concerns - able to get around fine and seems pain-free.

Behavioral: Was nippy on intake - most likely hormonal. Now that the kittens are gone, she does not nip anymore!

Intake: 2/22/25

Location: Foster home

Adopt: https://form.jotform.com/rightmeowrescue/adoption-application
