Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes, and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. <br/><br/><br/>The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/><br/>One of our previous fosters found a mama cat (LUCY) and her 4 kittens (LILI - SHANDRA - JACE - ALANI) eating out of the dumpster at her work site in Hemet, California. Before trapping them, she reached out if we cold help her. We agreed if she would foster.<br/><br/><br/>We had the mama cat scheduled to be fixed. The day before she was due to get fixed, she had a second litter. So apparently she was pregnant before she was trapped. Her new liter of 4 kittens was LYNA - ELARA - CASTOR - POLLUX. <br/><br/><br/>Meet POLLUX: Your New Best Friend!<br/><br/><br/>POLLUX is a young, sweet, and absolutely charming orange and white tabby with a heart full of love and curiosity. He’s the perfect combination of calm and playful — a gentle soul who loves to snuggle up for some quality cuddle time, but also has plenty of energy for interactive play sessions!<br/><br/><br/>At just the right age, POLLUX is still curious about the world around him. He’ll happily explore every corner of his environment, always finding new things to keep him entertained. Whether it's chasing a toy mouse or pouncing on a feather wand, he plays hard, always with enthusiasm and a happy tail wagging behind him. His playful energy is contagious, and you'll never be bored with this little guy around.<br/><br/><br/>But when it's time to unwind, Pollux is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He loves being petted and will happily curl up on your lap, purring contentedly as you shower him with affection. His calm demeanor makes him a perfect companion for relaxing evenings at home. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)<br/>2. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 10 am to 12 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 7 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 2 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 2-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.<br/><br/><br/>******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ******************<br/><br/><br/>The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below: <br/><br/><br/>****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA and INDUSTY. But we can do meet and greets at all 5 locations below locations.****<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART - 17651 Colima Rd, City Of Industry, California 91748<br/><br/>PETSMART - 2153 W Florida Ave, Hemet, California 92545<br/><br/>PETSMART - 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, California 92562<br/><br/>PETSMART - 34900 Monterey Ave, Palm Desert, California 92211<br/><br/>PETSMART - 2851 Eastland Center Dr, West Covina, CA 91791<br/><br/><br/>The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
