Pollock's Story
Meet Pollock! This very friendly lady came from a home with 5 dogs and 4 other cats and the family became homeless. She is the nicest cat and gets along well with everyone. Unfortunately she pees blood. Our vet isn’t sure why. We did bloodwork on her and everything is normal. We did antibiotics, didn’t help. Then we did an X-ray and sent it to a lab and they think it might be a birth defect or an old injury to her kidney. Unfortunately being a municipal shelter, we can’t take her medical research any further. For this reason her adoption fee will be waived. Pollock is approximately 5 years old, spayed, microchipped, up to date with her vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
If you would like to meet our cats and kittens, we will be open to the public between 9-12 and 3-4 Monday through Friday, (weekends appointments available for approved applicants) for meet and greets. We still ask you to fill out an application prior to coming to speed up the process. If your application is approved, you will be able to adopt the same day! We do not adopt out of state, so NJ residents only please. Check out our new online application:
https://www.montvillenj.org/FormCenter/Health-Department-10/Animal-Shelter-Adoption-Application-69
