Poe's Story

Meet Poe! So much to say about this handsome gentleman…

Poe came into the shelter quite feral and spent a LONG time in a cage. After graduating to the free roam room he reeked is havoc for years, acting like he wanted pet them swiping people randomly, scratching the legs of volunteers he didn’t like. An all around peach!

Poe was the alpha of the room. Terrorizing new comers. Roaming around like a lion, looking for a scuffle. Poe now? Poe naps most of the day. Poe likes to be pet (when he wants to be of course, he IS still a cat), likes to sit on laps and asks to be picked up by his volunteers, purring. Will he be friendly to every human on earth? Maybe not. At this point we feel like Poe would make an excellent companion for the right person. A person who understands his temperament and accepts him for who is, a 98% sweet, 2% crabby handsome guy in need of a place to call his own after six years at the shelter.

Poe is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and heartworm disease. *Questions?
