Meet Poe!<br/>Poe came into the shelter January 6th from another rescue. He came in with his “brother” Lucien. We were told that the original owner had to surrender them both due to their living arrangements changing and not being able to keep them any longer. <br/>Poe is a little shy at first but, does warm up and does not turn down a good pet sesh. He does not seem to be a fan of dogs but, he might be ok in a home with a dog that ignores him. He is great with other cats especially calm cats like his buddy Lucien. <br/>Poe is very quiet and lazy, his favorite activity is no activity, give this guy a nice bed or a couch and he is good to go. <br/>If you are looking for a low maintenance, no nonsense kind of cat then come meet Poe today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.

We may require a home visit prior to adoption and if multiple applications are submitted, we reserve the right to pick the most appropriate adopter for that animal. We also reserve the right to deny an application.
