Poe's Story

Poe is a quiet 2 year old boy who needs a calm household to feel brave enough to warm up to his people. He does very well with slow introductions and has a positive association with treats to help build trust. Poe should live with at least one other friendly, outgoing cat that can role model what its like to be brave, outgoing and social. Poe also LOVES his bed; he can often be found sleeping under the covers (be careful not to sit on him!). At night, he will eventually join his foster person in bed, but only after they are tucked in and seem asleep. We think he secretly wants to make friends with humans, but it will take some time at Poe's pace. <br/><br/>An adult only home is a must for this sweet boy with patience and willingness to work with him on building trust in new environments.
