Pluto's Story

Meet Pluto: "I may not be the first cat to greet you at the door, but if you give me time, I'll show you that the quietest hearts often have the most love to give."

Pluto is a handsome 2 1/2-year-old boy who has come an incredibly long way since entering foster care. He's now looking for a patient foster home while he waits for the forever family that's meant for him.
When Pluto arrived at just 16 weeks old, he had lived with loud aggressive dogs and without human socialization. He was understandably frightened of the world around him. Learning to trust has been a journey, but with time, patience, and love, Pluto has blossomed into a gentle, sweet companion who is ready for his next chapter.
Like many cats with a difficult start, Pluto will need time to settle into a new home. He may be shy at first, but giving him the opportunity to adjust at his own pace will allow his quiet, loving personality to emerge.
One of Pluto's favorite things is the company of other cats—especially his feline girlfriends! He's often found curled up beside them or quietly relaxing with his female friends. Because of this, Pluto would do best in a home with other friendly cats, particularly female cats, who can help him feel safe and confident.

Pluto's journey has already shown what patience and kindness can accomplish. Now he's looking for someone willing to give him the time he needs to feel at home.
Could that be you? Whether you're interested in fostering or adopting, please send us a message to learn more about this wonderful boy.
