Fat Manx Cat Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

We allow potential adopters to come to our sanctuary and meet the animal they are interested in. If the adopter has dogs, we ask them to bring their dog over to observe interaction with their potential adoptee. We meet all family members. We are a small community in the Hill Country area, so we often know them personally. After that, they sign a contract for care, we provide their up-to-date paperwork and tags, and hope to receive updates of the cat’s new, happy home!

Our Mission

Our mission at Fat Manx Cat Sanctuary is to advocate for the felines, feral or domestic, of the Texas hill country by providing healthcare, community, shelter, and eventually, loving homes. At Fat Manx, we believe all cats can show promise in becoming pets someday.
