PJ's Story

Hello there! The names PJ! I am around 5 years old and the most handsome boy!! I was brought to the shelter as a stray with a bad upper respiratory infection but the nice doctor fixed me up with antibiotics so now I am ready to find my forever home! You may have noticed I am missing half of my back leg. I came to the shelter like that. Doctor Kayla said I may have been born that way or possibly an injury that healed on its own while I was living on the streets. It doesn't hold me back though! I do have one tiny request. If you could please help me scratch under my chin and ear on my left side since I'm not able to do it on my own. I will be ever so grateful! I am a little shy at first meeting new people but I warm up quickly and my staff tell me I am the just the sweetest boy! I take interest in the other cats around me so another cat in the home who isn't too crazy would be okay. No dogs for me! I have not been around small children so that would be on a case by case basis but older kids will be fine. I am just a little scared being picked up at times due to my leg. If you think I would be the perfect fit for your home, please complete an application!
