Meet Pixie! <br/><br/>I am a five 1/2 month old (as of February 21 2026),beautiful medium hair dilute calico. I weighed 5.4 pounds on 2/16/2026 and she is absolutely ADORABLE. <br/><br/>Pixie is such a cute, happy girl with her split face and the mix of orange stripes and gray patches. She loves chasing her feather toy or “hunting” toy mice and is generally a very playful, energetic kitty. She also loves getting head scratches and will climb under your covers like a little person at bedtime. She can be shy and on guard with new people but with proper time to adjust (and plenty of treats! her favorite are Temptations:)) i really think she could adjust well to a new home and let her personality shine. She has very little experience with dogs so that would likely take some extra adjustment time but with how young she is and her curious disposition i think she could grow to love a cat friendly dog over time. I have yet to see her dislike another cat so i hope/believe that would remain the case anywhere she goes. She is in a foster home with her sister so if you are looking for a friend for Pixie, then her sister is also available (Juno), otherwise, Pixie is happy to get all the love alone if you are only looking for 1 to spoil. <br/><br/>Rescue Story:<br/>A business owner and rescue volunteer of CAFA was feeding Pixie's mom who was a stray outside her office. Imagine her surprise when she walked out of her office one day and they’re were three kittens eating the food she had put out for the mom. She immediately knew we had to be saved! She trapped us in a tiny trap and began to tame us! I a little easier to tame because hey, I love treats! Now I am in a foster home where I snuggle and cuddle in bed with my foster mom and get the best love from her! Now, we just need to find my forever and ever home!
