Pixie's Story

Meet Pixie - A Beautiful, Sensitive Soul Looking for Her Forever Home

Pixie is a gorgeous kitty with striking orange and black tabby stripes, adorable white on her chest and paws, and stunning green eyes. One side of her face features bold black stripes and eyeliner, while the other side shows off her bright orange tabby markings - she truly is a little work of art!

Pixie loves gentle pets, lap time, and having her head and face rubbed. She has an amazing purr motor and enjoys being near her people. She's very sweet and likes interacting, but she's also perfectly content relaxing on her own. Pixie is still learning about toys and may occasionally play on her own or chase one if you toss it - it seems like she may not have had many toys before, so she's discovering the fun now!

Pixie is gaining confidence in her foster home, but she can be nervous when meeting new people. She's a sensitive girl who will likely be shy at first in a new environment. She's looking for a calm, patient household that will give her the time and space she needs to settle in. Because she can sometimes get a little overstimulated during petting, a cat-savvy home that understands cat body language would be ideal. A home without young children would be best.

With patience and love, Pixie has so much affection to give and will become a wonderful companion for the right adopter.

When Pixie first goes home, she will likely be scared and want to hide. It's recommended she start out in a small space like a bathroom or bedroom with cozy hiding spots (including her carrier) while she adjusts. Giving her time to explore at her own pace will help her feel safe and comfortable in her new home.

Indoor-only home required.

If you're interested in scheduling a meet and greet, please contact Pixie's foster parent at prizm456@yahoo.com
