Pixie's Story

Meet Pixie, born March 2021. She has been with us since she was a tiny kitten, and nearly her entire life has been spent waiting at the shelter for a family to call her own.

Pixie is a beautiful Domestic Shorthair mix with striking green eyes that seem to hold a world of quiet wonder. Her unique coat—a soft blend of black, apricot, white, and gray—makes her just as stunning on the outside as she is special on the inside.

Pixie is shy and cautious and needs time to build trust with new people. She prefers to observe from a safe distance at first. She does not currently enjoy being petted or held, but in the right home—one filled with patience, understanding, and gentle consistency—that may change as she learns to feel safe and secure.

While she may be reserved with people, Pixie truly shines in other ways. She loves treats, enjoys playtime, and gets along well with the other cats in the cattery. Her quiet, tender personality is simply waiting for someone to see her for who she is—a sensitive soul who deserves a peaceful home of her own.

It breaks our hearts that Pixie has grown up in a shelter. She is fully vetted, combo tested, and microchipped—completely ready for her forever family.

Pixie doesn’t need perfection. She just needs patience. In return, she will bring a gentle presence and quiet beauty into your life.

Please don’t let her spend another year waiting.
