Pretty little Pixel wandered from her original adoptive home as a kitten. She found a kind neighbor who fed her and liked her gentle and affectionate manner but could not bring her indoors. She teamed up with Pearl, another hungry neighborhood stray. In June of 2026, an NMAF volunteer found Pixel struggling to walk and looking scruffy and ill. NMAF took both cats in for veterinary care (Pixel needed surgery for a nasty abscess) and then into the adoption program. They have traded a risky outdoor life for the comforts of a safe home!<br/><br/>Pixel loves the indoor life and now has a sleek, healthy coat. She gets along with the other cats in the household and defers to the three large male cats. She has good social graces, uses the litter boxes faithfully, and enjoys trips to the scratching post. She is friendly with Pearl but not closely bonded.<br/><br/>Pixel is a sweet, petite, and now healthy young cat who will be a loyal companion to you and your household.
