Pixel's Story

Pixel’s story started with a kind stranger who knew he needed help. He was found and brought to a local shelter here in Mobile, and it didn’t take long to realize this tiny kitten was a little different—he had nerve damage in his front leg and couldn’t use it. That’s where we stepped in.

Mobile Cat Society pulled Pixel into foster care so he could get the medical attention he needed, and once he was big enough, the decision was made to amputate the leg that wasn’t viable. And honestly? Pixel hasn’t looked back since.

This little guy is thriving. He’s a playful, curious, full-of-life kitten who zooms around like any other—just on three legs instead of four. Being a tripod doesn’t slow him down one bit. He climbs, plays, explores, and loves just as hard as any kitten out there.

Pixel is great with people, gets along well with other cats, and is fully litter box trained. He will need an indoor-only home where he can stay safe and continue to thrive.

He may be a “special needs” kitty on paper, but to anyone who meets him, he’s just… Pixel. Sweet, resilient, and ready to find a family to call his own.

If you’re interested in giving this amazing little survivor a home, you can apply through Mobile Cat Society. Out-of-state adoptions are welcome with an approved application.
