Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, TN's Adoption Policy
DOG ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, DAPPv & bordetella vaccines, heartworm test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine. Puppies 6 months and under $100.
CAT ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FeLV test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine
Please note that puppies and kittens under 3 months of age do not receive a rabies vaccine. Puppies under 6 months of age are too young for a heartworm test and kittens under 4 months of age are too young for an FIV/FeLV test.
Animals already spayed or neutered may leave with you upon approval of your adoption application. Animals NOT spayed or neutered will be scheduled for surgery at the time of adoption. The animal must be spayed or neutered before going home.
All adoptions also include 30 days of opt-in Pet Insurance.
Our shelter is open to the public.
Open 12pm-5pm Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
