Pita's Story
Pita was brought to the shelter after she was left abandoned in a condemned house. She is about 5 years old. After we had Pita for a bit, we noticed that she held her head at a weird angle. We had her seen by our vet where it was determined she just has moderate neurological issues. She does not require any medication or special treatment, but we are looking to put her in a calm, one level home. She can still get around okay, but we think she would do best in a quiet environment. Pita seems to do well with children and other animals, but we highly recommend low energy ones so that they are not too rough with her. Pita is the sweetest girl though! She desperately wants attention when people are around and is so friendly. This special girl is in need of a loving home!
