Pistachio is a 9-year-old boy who came to us from a home with too many other cats. Pistachio is a quiet, gentle boy who is looking to find a peaceful home of his very own. He gets along great with other cats and may enjoy having another feline in the home with him. He allows light petting and is curious to interact but still learning. He really needs a patient home to help him warm up and gain confidence with time. Pistachio is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. Adoption Fee: $175 If you have already submitted an application with us within the last year, you do not need to do another one, please email adoptioncounselor@mrfrs.org if you are interested in adopting Pistachio. Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society's Adoption Policy

Adoption The MRFRS adopts out adult cats and kittens. All of our cats and kittens up for adoption come with over $500 in veterinary treatment including being: spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and given an overall wellness exam by our vet. All cats come with a 14-Day Health Warranty. Adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV; kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia. Our cats also have a lifetime guarantee of a home with us, should the need ever arise.
