Pippy's Story

Pippy was rescued with her mom and siblings in August 2022. Although her mom, Dolly, was friendly from the beginning, Pippy and her sister, Sally, and brothers, Linus and Snoopy, were terrified of humans. Although Pippy is still a timid girl who will run from you most times, if you are able to catch her she will allow you to pick her up and hold her tight and will immediately start purring. If you get down to her level, she will come for squeeze up treats and play with the feather stick and will accept pets and scritchins but then she may just bolt when she gets in a mood. She does not have a nasty bone in her body and gets along well with other cats but won’t compete for the squeeze ups against other more aggressive cats. With patience, time and more human attention, she could become a lovely companion.

Please consider adopting Pippy into your loving home. If you can’t adopt her, please share her story and help her find her forever home.

If you are interested in adopting Pippy, please contact us at frederictoncarma@gmail.com.

As of October 2024 the adoption donations will be:

- Adult cat (over 12 months): $125
- Kitten (12 months and under): $200

CARMA, Fredericton Chapter's Adoption Policy
So, you've found your potential new best friend... send us an email and we'll get the ball rolling for you! All cats and kittens available for adoption by CARMA Fredericton are treated to ensure they do not have fleas, ear mites, roundworm, tapeworms, or heartworm. They are spayed/neutered and vaccinated at Ca-R-Ma's expense. We do not sell cats or kittens; instead we request that adopters donate to our spay/neuter fund. This amount can change from time to time - please check with our volunteers for the current minimum donation. CARMA does not have a shelter but instead relies on a network of loving foster homes to help us socialize and care for adoptable cats.
