Pippa and Poupon's Story

Meet Pippa and Poupon, a bonded pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 6 months old.

Pippa is a feisty female with uniquely round eyes, a square black nose and silky black fur. To keep the mystique of an all-black cat, she only shows the secret white spots on her belly to her inner circle. If you want to be part of that circle, tube treats and catnip are gifts that bring her out of her timid shell and into your heart. Pippa loves to climb and will find the highest perch for watching the world go by.

Poupon, a grey dilute tabby, compliments Pippa’s refined disposition with his curious and playful personality. He loves jumping for strings and, like Pippa, rolling in catnip. He enjoys watching birds out the window and making soft trills with his sing-song voice. Poupon is Pippa’s rock, and will calmly comfort Pippa, who sometimes sits on his head when she gets scared. A truly bonded pair, they love sleeping in each other’s paws.

They are both quiet and comfortable at home alone when their people are away at work for long hours. They'd be equally happy in a tiny home, a giant mansion, or anything in between.

They spent their early kittenhood on the street and remain cautious of strangers. Plan for them to very shy around new people and things. They can be startled by loud noises, and would thrive in a small, quiet home.

What Pippa and Poupon are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
- They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Thank you for your interest in Pippa and Poupon! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://bit.ly/ACPAdoptionForm

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered.
