PLEASE NOTE -Sunny Sky’s Rescue is open to the public on Wednesdays from 12-4pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm. Although our shelter will once again be open to the public we are still following Covid-19 precautions. All visitors are asked to wear a facemask and observe social distancing. Although the public are able to view our dogs and cats during this time, in order to have a meet and greet a preapproved application is required.*

We are still making changes to our application process and at this time we are only allowing pre-approved applicants to have formal meet and greets with the pets available for adoption. We strongly recommend visitors fill out the adoption application prior to visiting.

Yes - Pipers Piping and his siblings have really great Christmas names! Guess who the other 12 are? They are a rainbow of sweet kittens of different colors and personalities! But all sweet and very playful! These kitten's DOB is 8/03/20.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $159 (plus $50 spay /neuter deposit if needed) and includes spay/neuter, Microchip, pyrantel deworming, Frontline flea treatment, testing for feline leukemia/FIV, and appropriate vaccinations.

Our adoption process has changed during this time and we will be processing applications before having potential adopters meet the animals, this way we will be able to match families with their forever pets. You will have an opportunity on the application to let us know what type of pet you are looking for.

Although you cannot request a specific dog or cat the preapproval will give you access to a meet and greet with the group of dogs or cats your application matches you with. This is the first step at finding your special new family member! Please note preapproval applications are online only – there are no paper applications available on site. You will be notified in 7 business days of your preapproval status.
