She and her siblings were an accidental litter that their owner could not keep, which is how they ended up at HSHP. Now she's ready to find a forever home - and trust us, there's personality here for everyone! Piper might try to act shy the first time you meet her, but she will soon be crawling all over you for attention.<br/>One thing that made this litter of kittens extra special is they all have the cutest little "monkey tails" their tails curl at the end and its absolutely adorable! This is a genetic trait that makes them all the more unique and adorable!<br/>Piper is social and playful, and at the perfect age to assimilate into a new family. She gets along with just about everyone, and she's young enough she can be easily socialized to fit into most homes. She has plenty of energy, so toys and mental stimulation will be a must to make sure she's not acting out from boredom!<br/>Ready to add a little monkey business to your life? Humane Society of the High Plains's Adoption Policy

Adoption Fees Spayed/Neutered Dogs $90 Spayed/Neutered Cats $80 Intact Dogs $90 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. Intact Cats $80 + $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit. A $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit is required for all unaltered animals. Kansas State Law KSA: 47-1701, requires all animals adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered. Lonely Hearts Club Adoption Fees are half-priced for any animal that has been residing at the shelter for at least 30 days. Requirements: You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. Landlord approval is required. All unaltered animals must be spayed or neutered before a predetermined date. We DO NOT adopt animals as gifts. Ask about our gift certificates. All adoptions must be processed in person at the shelter.
