Piper's Story

Piper is a feral, brown mackerel tabby cat that was trapped in front of the kennel as a kitten. Although captured at an early age, Piper will still need to be adopted by an extremely patient individual who is experienced with working with feral cats: someone interested in putting in the effort and time to build a relationship with a feline that does not trust humans.

If you feel you have the experience and patience to work with a highly unsocial feline that started life as a feral cat, please submit an application to adopt Piper at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Piper and get to know her a bit.

You may also sponsor Piper as a long-term resident of AALOC by donating for her care. Please visit our website at www.AALOC.org for more information regarding pet sponsorship and email us at AALOC@AALOC.org for details on how you can become Piper’s benefactor.

Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on our adoption policies visit our website at www.AALOC.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.
