Piper was one of six cats we took in from that tragedy when rescuers were overwhelmed, and nearly a year later, Piper is still waiting for her second chance.<br/><br/>This gorgeous girl prefers the simple things in life - a cozy bed in a sunspot or a blanket to curl up in. She would do best in a calm and quiet home with slow and reassuring interactions from her adopters, who understand that love doesn't always rush, it sometimes grows slowly and quietly.
