Hi there, my name is Piper. I’m a 6-year-old brown tabby with soft, beautiful markings on my fur and the most mesmerizing eyes (or so I’ve been told). I’m a bit of a timid girl; the world feels like a pretty big, scary place sometimes. That’s why I’m currently in foster care, working on building my confidence and learning that people aren’t so scary after all.<br/><br/>I’m making progress every day, and my foster family is patient and kind, which helps me feel safe. I’m still figuring out how to trust and show affection, but deep down, I want to connect with someone who will love me for who I am and give me the time and space I need to blossom.<br/><br/>What I dream of is a calm, quiet home with a kind, patient human (or two) who understands that it might take me a little while to fully come out of my shell.
