Pip's Story

Meet Pip! Pip Pip Hooray, Pipper, Pipster, Pippy, and more!
This sweet boy is a dark grey medium haired kitten with subtle tabby stripes. He was born around April 13. Pip and his brother, Turtle, were found at about 10 days old cold, wet, weak, starving, dehydrated, and seemingly abandoned.

Pip was tiny. Much smaller and less lively than his brother. His foster momma didn’t know if he would make it through the night. She worked hard with him all night long, praying that he would survive.
He did, but it took days for him to start thriving.

Because Pip and Turtle were being bottle fed every few hours they traveled everywhere with their foster momma. These trips included church, work, a downtown Dallas hotel stay, and even a horseback riding event! They were very popular and socialized at a young age. Because of this, these boys are very well adjusted, easy going kittens.

Time came for the brothers to be neutered so that they could go to their forever families. It was then that Pip was diagnosed with a heart murmur. The veterinary surgeon said that in all other aspects, Pip was a very strong, happy, and healthy kitten. It was decided to continue with the procedure where Pip came through with flying colors.
A board certified internal medicine veterinarian’s opinion was that many young kittens will completely grow/age out of their heart murmur. He said that if they don’t overcome the murmur completely, most will lessen in severity.

Pip has zero idea that he isn’t the picture of perfect health. He plays like crazy and is the best snuggler. The only indication that he has any issues is that if Pip runs and plays extremely hard he may become out of breath and/or tire out faster than other kittens.
He is fully vetted meaning he has been microchipped, fully vaccinated including his rabies vaccine, dewormed, FeLV/FIV negative, neutered, and on a parasite prevention program. Pip is completely litter box trained and eats Iams kitten kibble. He has been exposed to and is happy to be around kids, other cats and/or kittens, dogs and/or puppies.

Pip’s foster momma would fully adopt him if she could, but that would lessen the number of other animals that she can help.

Turtle has found his forever home, can you help Pip find his?
Share this page to help Pip find that perfect family to love and spoil him like he deserves.
If you or someone you know is interested in Pip, please reach out for more information on adopting this precious boy!
Thank you and have a great day!
