Ping's Story

IMPORTANT - HOW TO APPLY: If you're interested in meeting Ping, you need to first submit an application on our website: winonahumane.org/adopt. Our Feline Director will then contact you to set up a time to visit (our building is operating with scheduled visits). Please email with any questions about Ping or her adoption process!

Personality notes:
Like the other members of her intake group, Ping has had a long journey and will need some understanding and patience to continue opening up. She came in as a young mom and did a great job raising her littles. Ping’s journey included battling treatable but pesky medical conditions that have now resolved, and she’s moved on to the best part: getting to find a family!

Ping came in from an outdoor colony and is still on the timid side, especially around lots of commotion. Treats are her love language, along with peaceful quality one-on-one time. Ping warms up after a few visits and finds great comfort cuddling with other cat friends atop her favorite cat tower perch.

The ideal family for Ping is one that’s patient and understanding. She’ll benefit from kind people who are able to guide her through the transition from shelter to home life, in whatever amount of time she needs.

Please submit an application on winonahumane.org/adopt to get the process started and build a friendship with Ping!

Additional info: female, Domestic Long Hair, white & gray, approximately 2 years old, FIV/FeLV-, spayed, microchipped
