Pigpen 's Story
Meet Pigpen! This adorable, scruffy dude was found living outside with a badly injured “wrist”. Once he was seen by a vet and had the injury assessed, it was determined that amputating his front leg was the best thing to do for him. He has recovered beautifully from his surgery but does have mobility challenges. His other front leg has some issues as a result of compensating for his bad leg for so many years. He manages well, though, and can jump on & off of furniture and climb steps.
Another challenge that Pigpen has is that he’s diabetic. His Diabetes is currently managed by an oral medication that he does very well with.
Despite the difficulties that “Piggy” has faced, he has an amazing, super sweet personality. He loves pets and will take them for as long as you’re willing to give them. He’ll let you know how happy he is by chirping.
Pigpen would prefer to be an only pet, but could live in a home with another cat, who won’t get in his space. If you’re looking for a wonderful companion, this guy is it!!

All Lucky You! cats and kittens have age-appropriate vaccines, are spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and negative unless otherwise noted. For kittens, it is rescue practice to test mother cat, or ONE kitten per litter.

Apply to adopt using the following link:
http://bit.ly/lyarapplication
