Pie (Senior)'s Story
Meet Pie ?? Our Sweet Senior Girl Looking for a Soft Place to Land

Pie went to our vet on Monday to be spayed and microchipped. During her pre-exam, our surgeon had some concerns and requested bloodwork. While Pie had previously been estimated to be around 5 years old by a vet outside our network, Dr. Pennington determined she is actually closer to 10 years old.

Her bloodwork also revealed active kidney disease, and she will need a dental as well. Because of this update, the potential adopter scheduled for Friday decided she was no longer the right fit.

But here’s what hasn’t changed—
Pie’s gentle spirit. Her zest for life. Her purrs. Her affection. Her sweetness.
That’s exactly how she earned her name: Pie… our Sweetie Pie.

ECCP will fully cover the cost of her dental, and Pie will simply need to remain on prescription KD food moving forward. Many senior cats with kidney disease live comfortably for years with proper care.

We are really hoping someone special is out there who wants to give this beautiful senior girl the peaceful retirement she deserves. ??
If you have room in your heart and home for Pie, please fill out an application on our website

https://www.enfieldcommunitycatproject.com/
