Pico and Queso are big in size and personality, they‘ll fall asleep next to you or curl up hugging each other. Rescued as strays on the island of St. Kitts they really bonded in their foster home and get along very well with other cats and dogs. They want to be friends with and rub against everyone for affection!<br/><br/>They’re best of friends and will wrestle, groom and birdwatch by the window together. Chasing the red dot is a passion of theirs. They’ve been around kittens and puppies too, they’re gentle with everyone. They’ll follow you around but it’s also great to have both boys to entertain one another.<br/><br/>They’re a year and a half old and have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Operation Git-Meow, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Operation Git-Meow has adoptable cats and kittens in the greater Washington, D.C. area rescued both locally and from the US Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. We have an adoption application that can be downloaded at https://operationgitmeow.com/documents and emailed to operationgitmeow@gmail.com to begin the adoption process. Please check the listings for each cat/kitten to see where they are currently being fostered, if they’re part of a bonded pair, or require a pet companion. We charge a $140 adoption fee ($240 for a bonded pair) which pays, in part, for the veterinary care and transport costs required to rescue cats from Cuba. We only adopt out cats/kittens who have been spayed/neutered and who have been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia. All adoptable cats/kittens will be microchipped and up to date on their shots. We will always take back one of our adopted cats if the adopter can no longer care for them.
