Pickle's Story

Sweet Pickle comes from a litter of four kittens. He and his sister Enid (also available for adoption, together or separately) were dumped on an unexpecting party when the original owner became unhoused. The dumpee didn't want the cats and has been letting them live indoor/outdoor, and most recently, outdoor.

Pickle is so sweet, the rescuer he's temporarily living with is calling him 'Sweet Boy.' He grew up with his sister Enid so is used to other cats but has been a little hissy/growly with the cats in the current house at times when he leaves his bathroom oasis, but other times he's fine. He hasn't engaged in play with any of the cats, it's just a matter of getting to know everybody over a slow, controlled introduction and then he should be fine to live with other cat friendly cats. The dogs in the current house can be a little much for him but on the day of this writing he's been fine with the dogs.

Pickle will be fully vetted including vaccinations and neutered prior to adoption.

Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.

Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado.
