Pickle

Pickle
Est. DOB 4/2026
Adoption fee: $200

Pickle is a 4 month old orange tabby kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At just 2 pounds, he somehow found himself alone in a parking lot where he climbed into the wheel well of a car in search of safety, getting covered in oil in the process. Thankfully, he picked the right car, and his journey led him straight to us.

Unfortunately, shortly after he arrived, he became very sick with an upper respiratory infection that progressed to pneumonia despite treatment. Because pneumonia can be very serious in kittens, he was rushed to the ER and gave us quite the scare. Thankfully, he made a full recovery and is now a healthy, happy boy who continues to show us just how strong he is. Even when he was very ill, he never stopped purring or asking for love.

Despite his very difficult start in life, he never let it dim his spirit. From the moment he arrived, Pickle has been all purrs, cuddles, and playful kitten antics. He greets everyone like they're an old friend, melts into your arms when you pick him up, and is always ready to chase a toy, investigate something new, or curl up for a nap after a busy day of exploring.

Pickle is curious, full of energy, and a total goofball, but what makes him truly special is his incredibly loving heart. Despite everything he's been through, he chooses to trust. He chooses to love. All he's missing now is a family to call his own that will love him just as much as he loves them. In return, he'll fill your home with endless entertainment, tiny orange-cat antics, loud purrs, and more love than you ever thought could fit into such a little kitten.

If you're looking for a best friend who will make you smile every single day, Pickle is waiting to meet you.

Pickle is being fostered with many other cats and dogs and truly loves everybody. He must be adopted with another cat or into a home with a friendly resident cat, as cats are highly social animals that thrive with companionship. Having a feline friend provides comfort, enrichment, and healthy social development.

If you're interested in adopting Pickle, please submit an adoption application at https://www.husshaven.org/adoptable-pets.

The adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine for cats 6 months and older, FeLV testing for cats under 6 months, FeLV+FIV testing for cats 6 months and older, and treatment for fleas, worms, and other common parasites.
