Piccolo's Story

Piccolo is a very sweet 11-week-old dilute tabby kitten with a gentle spirit and a tiny little body.
He's smaller than most kittens his age, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in resilience and heart.

Piccolo came to us with his siblings very sick with feline herpes virus. He fought hard to survive--and he did. Tragically, his mother did not, which makes his story even more special. This little boy is truly a miracle.

Today, Piccolo is doing great. He's playful, loving, and ready for a home of his own. He will thrive even more in a calm, loving environment where his stress is low and his immune system can continue to grow strong.

Piccolo will be a lifelong carrier of feline herpes virus, which is very common in cats. The important thing to know is that it is not contagious to vaccinated cats. Occasionally, during times of stress (like moving to a new home), he may have mild symptoms such as watery eyes or a little sneezing--but this is temporary and easily managed.

With a little extra support--like probiotics (we recommend FortiFlora sprinkled on food)--and a lot of love, Piccolo will grow into a completely normal, happy big boy.

He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated--ready to go home today.

Piccolo didn't just survive--he's ready to live. And he's waiting for someone to choose him. 💛
