Picasso's Story

Picasso is a total Love Bug! ?? His foster informed me that he loves to be kissed and to be held. He’s a handsome, blue-eyed gentleman, who’s about 8 years old and he weighs 15 pounds. He's a partially blind, neutered kitty that lived in one of the colonies where I feed. He was living in a dirty, loud, smelly junkyard but now he’s safe with his amazing foster who only has good things to say about this affectionate boy. ??

Picasso’s foster has generously taken care of all of his vet bills recently and makes sure he has everything he needs so that he could officially be put up for adoption. He has had a recent, deep cleaning of his teeth as well. During his first vet visit, the vet informed us that our Love Bug tested positive for Feline leukemia virus (FeLV). This does NOT mean Picasso can’t live a happy and healthy life. His vet found him to show no symptoms and overall, is still a happy LOVABLE and HEALTHY kitty! Even though he is partially blind (confirmed now by his vet and foster), he uses his litter box like a champion and doesn’t seem to struggle with anything. He’s extremely gentle with humans and cats, however, because he tested positive for FELV, he will have to be the only cat in a home or live with other cats who have also tested positive. ??

Picasso is so full of LOVE! He is a SPECIAL cat! Anytime you’re around him he will make you smile big and want your affection and pets. He’s a total ham and seems to love the ladies more. ??? He will melt your heart! I PROMISE!
