Phoenix (male calico)'s Story
Phoenix is a quiet, sensitive kitten who is still learning to feel safe. He can be a little hissy at first and is easily scared by new people or environments, but this comes from fear—not aggression. With patience and a calm approach, Phoenix settles and lets us hold and pet him, but he will definitely want to hide at his new home and will need a few weeks to adjust.

Phoenix will do best in a quiet, low-stress home, ideally without young children, where he can adjust at his own pace. He needs someone who understands shy kittens and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to build trust.

One very special thing about Phoenix is his coloring: he’s a muted tabico (a mix of tabby and calico), and he’s a male, which is extremely rare, the most rare type of calico male. Phoenix has already been neutered and is ready to start the next chapter of his life in the right home.

With consistency and kindness, we believe Phoenix has the potential to become a loving and loyal companion.

**** HOW TO APPLY ****

If you're interested in meeting Falcon, please apply online at CompassionateCareSanctuary.org/adopt. We usually list our little kittens as good with dogs because kittens under 12 weeks are always learning and experiencing lots of new things, and they adjust really well to new animals.

**** ADOPTION INCLUDES ****

This kitten's adoption fee is $100, and before adoption he will be:

- Neutered
- Vaccinated
- Microchipped (Lifetime)
- Dewormed
- Flea treated
- Vet examined
- FIV/FeLV tested

**** OUR PROMISE TO YOU ****

We’re passionate about creating an inclusive, safe space for pet lovers to adopt their next family member.
