Phoebe's Story
Only applications for adoption in Durham Region will be considered. Any out of area applications will be disregarded. Please see our website for information on our adoption process. Please note that all questions on the application must be answered fully in order to be considered.

Meet Phoebe

Phoebe is a gentle, playful, and affectionate sweetheart who adores companionship. Having allowed her several days to settle gradually into her foster home and then initiate interactions, she now happily leaps into her foster person's lap and purrs, grooms, or nudges for pets. She also loves stretching out on windowsills to keep watch on the neighbourhood, napping in favourite cozy spots, and giving a little meow when she'd like some attention. It's not all lounging, though, as Phoebe enjoys enthusiastically chasing small toys and jumping at the feather wand. Her cute habit of rolling around and exposing her belly is a sure sign she feels happy and secure.

Phoebe came to TAGS from a loving home, lost due to a change in the family's situation. She lived with two adults, two children, and an older cat, whom she would sometimes chase. One of the adults wondered if she might be happier as a sole cat. She hasn't been exposed to dogs, so it's unknown how she'd interact with them.

Phoebe would thrive in a home that gives her some time to adjust, then regularly plays with her and indulges in the snuggle time she adores. If you're looking for a sweet-natured cat, dear Phoebe may be your perfect match.

If interested, please complete our application form found at https://animalguardian.org/how-to-help/adopting-a-rescue/adoption-applications/. Applications other than the TAGS form will not be considered.
